You Can Affect the Future of ICE in Vermont
There are many actions you can take to affect how ICE operates in Vermont going forward. Here are three you can take now.
Action 1
Email or call your Congressional representatives and ask them to conduct Congressional oversight visits to the two ICE facilities in Williston. Specifically, ask them to make their oversight visits public and invite the media to cover them.
Our Congressional Representatives
- Senator Peter Welch – welch.senate.gov
- Senator Bernie Sanders – sanders.senate.gov
- Representative Becca Balint – balint.house.gov
Action 2
Call Phil Scott's office (802-828-3333), and ask him to sign bill H.849.
Action 3
Call the building owner and building manager of the ICE National Criminal Analysis and Targeting Center (NCATC) at 426 Industrial Avenue, and share your opinion about them allowing an organization that supports and directs ICE field work nationwide to stay in their building.
